Krista Ramsey
I read the column called Locking into the Magic of Legos. This was about how Legos are just toys for fun, they are actually good for kids to play with.

"Legos let them claim the two things adults don't even realize they need: space and silence."
I chose this quote because it shows this Legos are good for kids and can actually help them for who they are when they grow up. Most people think that they are just annoying and in the way because they hurt when you step on them but, people don't know the Legos actually help. I can tell that the text is elevated diction because of the word claim which is a more elevated word then taken. this was a good column to read because I always thought of Legos as a toy, never anything that could help you.
Questions:
1. How do you find so many different thing to write about?
2. Is it ever hard for you to figure out how to start your column?
3. What made you interested in writing?
